Braces

Luxury Braces for Men

Home Braces

Although a well-fitted suit should never need braces to keep it in place, they’re still a very popular accessory for the sartorially savvy gentleman. Perfect for elevating your look when you remove your jacket, men’s braces can also replace a waistcoat to create a stylish second outfit. Explore Aristocracy London’s collection of braces for men and add a touch of sophistication to your wardrobe.

Can I wear braces with my wedding suit?

Absolutely. In fact, you can use the braces to create different looks for different parts of the day, e.g. you can wear our full 3 piece suit during the service, then replace the waistcoat with braces for the party.

What colour braces should I choose?

This depends on the colour of your suit and your accessories. You can keep it classic by matching your suit with accessories in the same colour family, or you can be a bit more adventurous and choose a contrasting shade that complements your other accessories, such as your bow tie, or even the theme colour of the occasion if there is one.

Do I need braces for my suit?

Your trousers should always fit perfectly, so braces aren’t needed to hold them up. Instead, they serve purely as a style accessory. If you rely on them for function, it usually means the trousers are ill-fitting. With a formal, well-tailored suit, both braces and belts are simply accessories that add an extra touch of elegance.

Can I wear both braces and a belt?

This is a very common question, and the answer is absolutely not. You should never wear a belt and braces at the same time but you can alternate to create different looks with the same suit.
