How does a hand wound pocket watch work?
Hand wound pocket watches require your contribution to work properly. Specifically, you set the correct time by gently lifting the crown and winding it. Then, in order for the watch to work, the mainspring needs to be contracted and that’s done by regularly winding the crown while it’s in the down position.
Is a skeleton pocket watch durable?
Skeleton pocket watches are watches that have all non-essential surfaces removed from the display, thus revealing their inner workings.This has no impact on the durability of a quality pocket watch.
