Our Made to Measure Atelier offers a number of customisations to ensure your new tailored trousers are exactly as you like:

Fabrics for Tailored Trousers

We work with top-end mills, which produce exclusive fabrics for us, and our collection is updated regularly to reflect new trends and the different seasons. For your new tailored trousers, you can pick from a wide selection, including pure wool, alpaca, mohair, tweeds, cashmere, silk blends and linen. If you’re unsure which composition works best, our designer will be able to advise on the best option.

Tailoring Trousers: The Process

  1. Consultation: You will have 90’ with our fashion designer to discuss your requirements, as well as the occasion for which you’ll need the tailored trousers. Based on your thoughts, we’ll create a design and, if you like the outcome, your measurements will be taken.
  2. Fitting: After 4 weeks, you’ll come back to try on the trousers. If some final adjustments are required, our tailors will require up to 10 working days to complete them.
  3. Collection: Your tailored trousers are steamed, finished, and ready to collect. The designer can also advise on how to accessorise and pair your trousers to create the perfect look.

Why are the advantages of tailored trousers?

Although ready-to-wear options offer a good selection of designs and compositions, sizes are predetermined and this means an unavoidable compromise on fit. Tailored trousers are made specifically for you, factoring in your measurements, shape and posture. You can be involved in every step of the design process, including fabric selection.

What’s the difference between bespoke and made to measure?

Bespoke trousers usually require a new pattern, which increases the cost and delivery time. Made to Measure trousers offer the best of both worlds: they’re made from existing blocks and are then personalised to your measurements. This means you get an excellent fit with fewer appointments and at a more reasonable price.

Can I order tailored trousers and then make a suit?

Absolutely. We work with exclusive cloths from selected mills and, if the fabric is still available, we’ll be happy to make a complete suit at a later date or suggest other options to match your tailored trousers.

Can you use my measurements for future orders?

Yes, we will keep your measurements on record but we always advise to take new measurements before each order, especially if there have been some changes to your body shape or if you want a different design.
