Fabrics for Tailor Made Suits

Our collection of exclusive fabrics covers a wide range of colours, designs, and compositions, and it’s updated regularly to reflect new trends and seasonal requirements. Take your pick from pure wool to cashmere and silk blends, and from linens to tweeds, alpaca wool and mohair. If you’re unsure, our fashion designer will be on hand to advise what the best choice is based on the time of year, the suit design, and the occasion for which you’re purchasing your tailored suit.

The Suit Tailoring Process

  1. Consultation: You will have 90’ with our fashion designer to discuss your requirements, as well as the occasion for which you’ll need the tailored suit. Based on your thoughts, we’ll create a design and, if you like the outcome, your measurements will be taken.
  2. Fitting: After 4 weeks, you’ll come back to try on your tailored suit. If some final refinements are required, our tailors will require up to 10 working days to complete them.
  3. Collection: Your suit is steamed and ready for you to collect. The designer can also advise on how to accessorise your tailored suit to create the perfect look.

FAQs - Tailored Suits

Is Made to Measure the same as Bespoke?

Made to Measure suits start from a block and are then personalised with your measurements. This ensures a perfect fit with a faster turnaround time and at a more accessible price point. Bespoke suits usually require a new pattern to be made from scratch and this increases the cost, number of appointments and, therefore, lead time.

How long will it take to receive my suit?

After the first consultation, your suit will be ready in about 4 weeks. You’ll then be invited back for a fitting, and you may be able to collect your tailored suit then. If final refinements are needed, we may require a maximum of 10 working days to complete them.

Can I design a three-piece suit?

Yes, your tailored suit is crafted to your specifications. Therefore, you can choose between a two or three piece suit. We can also craft individual elements, e.g. jackets, trousers etc. for you to mix and match.

Do you store my pattern for future orders?

Although we’re able to use the measurements from a previous fitting, we encourage customers to come and have their measurements taken before each new order.
